Delivering firsts in wireless connectivity
Since 2002, RUCKUS has led the wireless network industry with firsts that have changed how Wi-Fi should evolve. From the BeamFlex® adaptive antenna system to ChannelFly®, a dynamic channel management technology, our focus has never wavered from delivering high-performance network solutions that are easy to manage yet can thrive even in the most challenging environments.
As a proven technology leader, RUCKUS has been at the forefront of Wi-Fi’s evolution. For example, RUCKUS was selected by the Wi-Fi Alliance® for our Wi-Fi 7 platform, driven by RUCKUS AI™, as the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 7® certification test bed. Our RUCKUS R770 access point (AP) was the only commercial AP to be chosen for the test bed and, upon certification, became the first Wi-Fi 7 solution to be deployed in a large public venue—Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
Today, RUCKUS Networks continues to push the limits of what Wi-Fi can be by pushing the envelope on wireless network speeds, throughput and capacity. Our goal has never been to simply meet the latest standards but to exceed them and set the pace for the next Wi-Fi generation.
RUCKUS Innovations
Wi-Fi 7
RUCKUS elevates the latest standard to new heights through our exclusive proprietary technology, which helps any Wi-Fi 7 deployment become the fastest, most robust and secure wireless network ever.
ChannelFly
This patented channel management technology maximizes throughput by utilizing algorithms to assess all available RF channels in real-time, measure the real-world capacity, and then, direct APs to the least congested channels automatically.
BeamFlex
More than beamforming, BeamFlex is a hardware-based adaptive antenna system that physically changes signal patterns and polarization in real time to produce the strongest signal possible. Not dependent on specific clients, it mitigates interference, maximizes client performance and extends any Wi-Fi range and coverage.
Auto Cell Sizing
In environments where multiple APs overlap, Auto Cell Sizing uses AP-to-AP communication to share information in real time and dynamically adjust their radio Tx power and Rx parameters (or cell size) to mitigate interference.
Airtime Decongestion
Airtime decongestion allows APs in ultra-high-density Wi-Fi environments to selectively respond to clients and limit management frame exchanges between APs and clients. This proprietary feature dramatically increases overall network efficiency for higher airtime utilization.
Benefits
Simplifies network management
RUCKUS patented technology reduces the need to constantly monitor and modify your network in dynamic environments by allowing APs to make real-time adjustments to antennas and channel broadcasts that maximize transmission optimization.
Improves network reliability
Innovative RUCKUS features like BeamFlex, ChannelFly and adaptive Wi-Fi cell sizing create a solid foundation for a dependable network that consistently delivers clear and robust signal transmissions automatically.
Boosts network performance
In head-to-head stress tests, RUCKUS APs have consistently outperformed the competition in high-density environments such as those found in schools, hotels and large public venues. Their ability to efficiently manage more client devices per AP allows network administrators to do more with less.
